This BDM Caliber 20/20 bat is a bargain. This new bat from BDM follows the 20/20 Cricket craze after the IPL and is designed for the explosive batsman. This bat has nine straight, even grains but there are some "specks" on the face of the bat, hence the price. While these imperfections do not affect the performance of the bat, they do detract slightly from the bat cosmetically. Infact JS Wright & Sons, the worlds largest english cricket bat willow supplier says these specks are a sign of a strong bat that will last. The profile of this bat is impressive, it has a mid or neutral middle position, thick edges and a concaved spine in order to distribute more wood into the hitting zone.

The bat is supplied with a single BDM Octopus grip fitted, which is slightly thicker than most grips. With a single grip this bat weighs 2 Lb 10 Oz.

The BDM Caliber 20/20 has a slightly different profile to a lot of bats from the subcontinent. The back of the bat is fairly concaved with a steep spine and higher than expected middle. All these bats maintain thick edges and imposing profiles. The edges of this bat measure 31mm and it has a spine height of 63mm. This bat is full size, Short Handle (SH).

A factory fitted toe guard has been applied to the bat, to prevent moisture entering the blade and prevent splitting. A FREE full length padded bat cover is included with this item.
