This new bat from BDM follows the 20/20 Cricket craze after the IPL and is designed for the explosive batsman. This bat has eleven straight grains and nearly half heartwood. Heartwood is the darker wood from the center of the tree, and is slightly harder than sapwood. Some people believe heartwood provides better performance, but it is purely a personal preference. The profile of this bat is impressive, it has a mid or neutral middle position, thick edges and a concaved spine in order to distribute more wood into the hitting zone.

The bat is supplied with a single BDM Octopus grip fitted, which is slightly thicker than most grips. With a single grip this bat weighs 2 Lb 10 Oz.

The BDM Caliber 20/20 has a slightly different profile to a lot of bats from the subcontinent. The back of the bat is fairly concaved with a steep spine and a fairly central middle. All these bats maintain thick edges and imposing profiles. Having said that, this bat has a slightly lower middle than the other BDM Caliber 20/20's we have in stock at the momenth. The edges of this bat measure 30mm and it has a spine height of 66mm. This bat is full size, Short Handle (SH).

A factory fitted toe guard has been applied to the bat, to prevent moisture entering the blade and prevent splitting. A FREE full length BDM padded bat cover is included with this item.
